How does a regional company compete with the big ad dollars of the national brands? “We were looking for a breakthrough way to showcase our full line of auto, home and life insurance products and to enhance our brand,” says Anna Hargis, Director of Advertising for Shelter Insurance, an insurance company that serves 14 states, headquartered in Columbia, Missouri.
Working with Creative Director Larre Johnson, we designed a campaign that focuses on the insurer’s strength — it’s network of 4000 agents and their ability to bring personal attention and individual solutions to every client. “In an age of online quotes and cost effectiveness, personal service has taken a back seat,” adds Johnson. “The agent is a necessary part of the equation, and this campaign, whether through statement of fact, comedy, or hyperbole, brings that point across.”
